Does my child need to come from opening to closing or can I drop him/her off at any time?
You can certainly bring your child whenever you need throughout the day. Most children arrive by 9am and leave by 5pm. You are free to bring your child at your convenience.
What do you mean by school age children?
We provide before and after school care for children in elementary school. We are a great alternative to on-site school care because we are reasonably priced and are available to care for your child during those long school breaks.
Are there any discounts available?
Due to our low prices, we do not offer sibling discounts or vacation discounts. However, we do accept state-run childcare payment programs for low income families such as MAXIMUS or YMCA.
Do you serve meals?
Yes, we serve breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. We are also registered with the California Nutrition Program.
How many infants do you care for?
We are licensed to care for up to 3 infants at a time. An infant in childcare is considered a child under the age of 2. However, we prefer to care for only 1 newborn at a time to make sure that little baby gets all the love and attention he/she needs.
What is your student / teacher ratio?
When all students are on site, the student / teacher ratio is 1:7. However, when our school age children are in school during the day, the ratio becomes 1:6.
Do you go on fieldtrips?
Yes! We recently went on a trip to the farm last October and are planning future field trips for the children. Parents are more than welcome to come and chaperone.
Do you celebrate birthdays and holidays?
Certainly! Unlike larger facilities, we can celebrate birthdays and holidays to make your child's early years extra enjoyable. Parents are welcome to bring cakes or cupcakes on their child's special day and we make sure to do our part by decorating for the party and showering the birthday boy/girl with special birthday wishes!
When is the best time to come and visit your school?
Appointments are not required, although some times are busier than others. Since we plan most of our educational activities during the morning, afternoons are preferred for tours of our school.
